Created in 2020, the Rising Together initiative brings our local brewing community together to showcase the talent and innovation of the Sacramento region’s craft brewers. As the official beer of Sacramento Beer Week, the region’s breweries are invited to brew their version of Rising Together, using donated and discounted brewing ingredients from generous suppliers and vendors. The beers are released during Sacramento Beer Week — keep an eye out for them in taprooms and at local retailers! 

2024 Rising Together Theme: “Dark Side v. Light Side”

Since our inaugural Sacramento Brewers Showcase collides with May 4th (“May The Fourth”), each brewery will be brewing a beer for the Light Side or Dark Side. Will it be light in ABV? Dark in color? So big that it could put (even more) hair on a Wookie’s chest? See if your favorite brewer decides to use their powers for good or evil on May 4th. No matter how they choose to wield their brewing sabers, these beers are going to be out of this world. May the hops be with you!
