Join us tonight to celebrate some of the great Belgian-style beers brewed by our great American brewers. Our Beertender crew will be decked out in official monk habits, we’ll be playing Gregorian chants on the radio and the lights will be turned down low Abbey style!
Tonight our OG Trivia Master Charlie Murphy will be doing 100% all beer trivia. We will also be pouring some of Sierra Nevada’s unique offerings; get your teams together for some fun trivia and some great beer at Samuel Horne’s from one of the original craft breweries!
Beer all day, trivia begins at 7pm.
The day after one of the biggest, funkiest beer events in NorCal. Today at Samuel Horne’s we cleanse our palates with some beautiful pilsners. Look for offerings from Trumer, Victory, Firestone, Lagunitas, North Coast, and New Belgium!
What better way to kick off beer week than a night of beers from one of Samuel Horne’s Tavern’s favorite brewers, Firestone Walker? We will be pouring their 16th Anniversary, Sucuba, Unfiltered DBA, and Pivo Pils on tap with a special Firkin of Union Jack IPA on our Beer Engine.
We are starting to think we could run this event every weekend; Sacramento beer drinkers love their hops! Samuel Horne’s will be turning over all of our taps to the biggest, stickiest, hoppiest beers we can get our hands on. We will be offering flights from the following brewers: Auburn Alehouse, Loomis Basin, Hangar 24, Six Rivers, Drake’s, 21st Amendment, Russian River, New Belgium, Rubicon, Highwater, Dust Bowl, Berryessa, Sutter Buttes, Sierra Nevada, Dogfish Head, Bear Republic, and Abigaile Brewing. Also for fun, we will be debuting our new Randall, stuffing it full of fresh hops and running a keg of Dogfish Head 90 minute through the system. Yeehaw for the hops!
To build on our weekly 100 mile happy hour we will be holding our “Support Your Local Brewers Night”. Samuel Horne’s taps will be turned over to some of our favorite local brews and we may get some live brewer sightings. In addition, we will be donating $1 from every local beer pint sold that day to a great local charity, the Twin Lakes Food Bank. So come down to support your local brewer and help raise some money for a great cause!
Samuel Horne’s is thrilled to welcome Jamie Mastin of New Belgium Brewing. Jamie will lead us in a tasting session, helping build your tasting and evaluation skills. $25 includes four New Belgium beers and tasting glass. Space is limited so please RSVP.
