This is a photo hunt that lasts all of Sacramento Beer Week. Starting February 22, each day at 10:00AM we will post a new clue on our Facebook page. This clue will send you to a specific place on the Downtown/Midtown Grid where you will take a picture and upload it to our Facebook page. You can solve the clue and post your picture each day or on your own schedule. Just remember, the first team to successfully complete and post the pictures of their successes will win the top prize of $50 Gift Certificate and a 1 Gallon City Block of River City Beer. Prizes will also be awarded for most spirited team and best overall photo.
Teams of three people max must register at River City Brewing Company by February 21. Upon registration, your team will receive a map of the challenge area, a stack of River City coasters and a sign with your team name and River City logo. You will also get a list of the rules. To kick off Sacramento Beer Week, River City Brewing Company will be pouring beer from seven locally owned breweries all day long. Please come in and try the great beer that Sacramento has to offer in one spot. It is a great chance to help us support local craft brews!
If you have ever wondered what goes into to brewing great beer, now is your chance to see the process up close and personal at River City Brewing Company. You have two chances to hang out with Brewmaster Brian as he takes you through the brewing process and offers samples of up to eight of his beers. You can call a manager to sign up for either the 2:30pm or the 4:30pm spot.
