- Samuel Horne’s Tavern presents Beer 101. This is an event for the beer curious and for those who love beer, but want to learn more. Learn flavors and complexities of every beer style with instruction by Kevin Pratt, Certified Cicerone and Grand Master Beer Judge. $15 7-9pm Please R.S.V.P.
- Manderes presents Lagunitas Brewmaster Night. Enjoy a sampling from Lagunitas Brewing and music by owner and brewer Tony Magee. Beer sampling is $10 with Lagunitas pints for $2. Reservations only.
- River City Brewing presents Tappin’ O the Irish Red, with the 2010 premiere of their Irish Red Rye Ale. (Seeking a piper for this event, call Brian at the brewpub!) 4:30pm
- Hoppy Brewing presents Tacos and Trivia. Enjoy $2 tacos and beer trivia contest for fun and prizes. 10pm
Beer Dinners and Food Pairings
- Matteo’s Public in historic Nevada City hosts a Brewmasters Dinner. Auburn Alehouse Brewmaster Brian Ford and Chef Steve Lenaberg will lead you through an intimate 4 course dinner with dessert prepared with and paired with Auburn Ales. Brian will share stories of his brewing adventures in the Gold Country. Limited seating, call early for reservations. 5-8pm
- Pangaea Cafe hosts The Bicycle Chef and Odonata Beer for a Belgian Beer and Food Pairing. Homemade sausages, moule frites, mussels and crafted Belgian beer are on the menu, including Odonata Water Witch, a locally made Belgian-style ale available with a complimentary logo glass. 6-9pm
- Lounge on 20 presents an Allagash Beer Dinner. Call for reservations.
- La Trattoria Bohemia presents a Czech Beer and Food Extravaganza. Complimentary glassware with any Primator or Kralovsky Lev Lion beer. All Czech tap beer at happy hour prices all day. Purchase one of five Czech meals and receive two complimentary pints of Czech beer. Large selection of Czech and Polish bottled beer all $1.50 off. Live acoustic music at 6pm. 11:30am-9pm
- Extreme Pizza offers $2 pints of eight California microbrews and 2 large pizzas for the price of one all day.
- Zocalo presents Street Tacos and Beer. Celebrate Beer Week with the Mexican flavors of Zocalo’s spicy taco bar, mariachi and beer selections from Cervecería Cuauhtémoc Moctezuma. 6-9pm
- Paragary’s Bar and Oven features a Belgian Beer Pairing on their menu. A three-course meal is paired with Stella Artois, Hoegaarden White and Leffe Brown. Experts will be on hand to discuss these beers. $27
- Limelight Bar & Cafe presents Alaskan Amber paired with a small bite for $6.00 and pints for $3.00. 4pm-close
- Ten22 offers samples of New Belgium Fat Tire, 1554 and Ranger with a plate of slow-braised baby back ribs for $6.95 or a special harissa-spiced potato chip appetizer.
- Michelangelo’s presents Italian Beer Pairings. Birra Moretti, Moretti La Rossa or New Belgium 1554 each paired with a rustic Italian plate.
- Mary’s Pizza Shack (Roseville) offers $5 pints and a slice, $5 sampler trays and $3 pints of their house-brewed beer.
- Centro Cocina Mexicana has a Modelo Beer Pairing on their menu all week. A three-course dinner paired with Negra Modelo, Corona Extra, and Pacifico from Grupo Modelo.
- MIX Downtown offers Brats n’ Beer. Enjoy any draft beer, including Firestone IPA, Rogue Hazelnut Brown Nectar, Hoegaarden, and Stella Artois, and an onion braised bratwurst for only $7 from 4-7pm.
- SOLD OUT The California Small Brewers Association presents the CSBA Beer Dinner at Mulvaney’s B&L. Enjoy an four course dinner of handcrafted local foods with limited edition California craft beer with additional beer tasting on the side and a meet and greet with California brewers. This event will benefit CSBA and features Russian River Brewing, Rubicon Brewing, Firestone Walker Brewing, Lagunitas Brewing and Stone Brewing.

- 3 Fires Lounge presents Sudwerk Night. Come meet the hard working brew crew from Sudwerk and enjoy $3 specials on their Hefe Weizen, Marzen, Helles Lager, and the Dunkel Weiss Bock. 6-9pm
- L Wine Bar and Urban Kitchen hosts a Sierra Nevada Tasting. Sample Sierra Nevada Kellerweis, Torpedo Extra IPA, Harvest Wet Hop Ale, Estate Brewers Harvest Ale, and Life & Limb with complimentary charcuterie. $7
- The Flaming Grill hosts Lagunitas Pint Night. Enjoy the best burgers in Sacramento and $2 pints of Lagunitas seasonals including Ryan’s Imperial Folly, Hairy Eyeball, Cappuccino Stout and more surprise beers. 5pm – close
