  • Hoppy Brewing hosts an Open House with brewery tours and specials on their award winning beer.  Learn how craft beer is made at one of Sacramento’s oldest breweries.  11am – 6pm
  • Pangaea Cafe presents Lagunitas Night.  Pangaea is proud to feature the music of Lagunitas Brewing owner/brewer Tony Magee and a great selection of his beers!  7pm (Due to personal reasons, Tony has to cancel his appearance)
  • The Flaming Grill and Sudwerk Brewery presents the Absolutely Hottest Hot Wing Eating Contest.  Come see who is first to finish 8 of the hottest habanero wings in Sacramento (no napkins, no beverages, just bones left).  $10 entrance fee includes a Sudwerk lager to cool your burning mouth.  Rules may change if the wings are simply too hot to legally allow you to eat them without serious risk.  9pm
  • Samuel Horne’s Tavern presents Beer Trivia Night.  Answer challenging questions about beer for fun and prizes.  Bring friends and enjoy their eclectic selection of American craft beer.
  • Bisla’s Sports Bar hosts Beer Pong.  Get a plate of hot wings and a pint of Sierra Nevada beer for $7 and compete in Bisla’s beer pong tournament for $400 first prize.  9pm-close

Beer Dinners and Food Pairings

  • River City Brewing presents a Cicerone Beer Dinner hosted by Certified Cicerone and Grand Master Beer Judge Kevin Pratt.  Enjoy an adventurous and educational five-course meal served with an international selection 8 craft beers for $65 (includes gratuity).  Call for reservations.  6:30pm
  • The Shack presents Sudwerk Brewer Night.  Enjoy Sudwerk Pilsner, Hefe weizen, Marzen, Dopplebock, and their limited new Signature release Dunkel Weiss Bock. Chef Gary Sleppy will provide delicious small plates carefully paired with each beer that a brewer from Sudwerk will discuss. $30  6-10pm
  • The Grange hosts Odonata Grape and Grain Dinner.  Join Odonata Beer and Odonata Wines upstairs at the Scandal Bar for 3 courses paired with Rorie’s Ale and Water Witch, Chardonnay, Grenache and Durif.  $65, call for reservations.  Reception at 6:30pm, meal at 7:00pm.
  • Piatti Ristorante & Bar presents a Stone Beer Dinner.  Executive Chef David Feldman will create five perfect pairings for five perfect beers from Stone Brewing.  Call for reservations and info.
  • Tex Wasabi’s hosts a Sierra Nevada BBQ & Sushi Dinner. Enjoy Sierra Nevada Porter, Glissade Golden Bock, Torpedo Extra IPA, and Kellerweis paired with a huge four course meal of Southern BBQ and California-style sushi.  $50, call for reservations.  6-8pm
  • Extreme Pizza offers a pint of California microbrew paired with a Signature slice for $5 all day.
  • Yager’s 727 offers Wings and Drinks with an order of hot wings and a Lagunitas IPA or limited-edition Ryan’s Imperial Folly for $10 all day and keep the logo glass.
  • Buffalo Wings and Rings has a Sierra Nevada T-Shirt Special with a pint of Sierra Nevada Pale Ale, T-Shirt and 5 traditional or boneless wings for $9.99 all day.
  • Mary’s Pizza Shack (Roseville) offers $5 pints and a slice, $5 sampler trays and $3 pints of their house-brewed beer.
  • The Melting Pot offers 2 for 20, with a pot of fondue and 2 beers for $20.
  • Centro Cocina Mexicana has a Modelo Beer Pairing on their menu all week.  A three-course dinner paired with Negra Modelo, Corona Extra, and Pacifico from Grupo Modelo.

  • L Wine Lounge and Urban Kitchen hosts a Bruery Night, featuring tastes of 4 selections from The Bruery and complimentary charcuterie for $10.  Serving Saison Rue, Orchard White, Autumn Maple and Two Turtle Doves.
  • Hangar 17 hosts a Hazed and Infused Night with $4 logo glass and $2 refills on Boulder Beer Hazed and Infused.
  • Hot Italian features Bear Republic Brewmaster Night.  Come meet Bear Republic Brewing founder Richard Norgrove and taste his award winning Racer 5 IPA.   5-7pm
