Special Events
- The Shack hosts our Hophead Scavenger Hunt Check-In Party! If you participated in The Hophead Scavenger Hunt, here is where you turn in your booty and see if you won! Come early if you want to join us for The Shack’s delicious brunch (kitchen closes at 2pm). We will be serving $2 pints from Rubicon and may have leftover surprise beers from Beer Week events. Even if you did not scavenge, join us for the fun! Noon-4pm
- Sudwerk Brewery and Restaurant hosts the Sudwerk Brewfest. 3pm A huge selection of Sudwerk beers, including unfiltered versions of their Marzen, Pilsner, Helles Lager, Dunkel Weiss Bock, and Hefe. Logo glasses for $5, refills for $2-3. Local bands, great food and more!
- Rubicon Brewing presents the Beer of California, a variety of different guest beers from across the state. All day, regular drafts are $3, strong ales are $3.75 and cask ales are $4.
- Samuel Horne’s Tavern presents Beyond Wine – Complex Beer for Complex Women. Instructors Virginia Jamison and Grand Master Beer Judge Beth Zangari teach you about international beer styles that satisfy a woman’s complex tastes. Sorry, boys, ladies only. $12 1 – 3pm Click here for more info.
- Auburn Alehouse hosts a Local IPA Fest with India Pale Ales from Rubicon, Sudwerk, Brew It Up!, Valley Brewing, and Auburn Alehouse. Flights of all 5 for $6.
- Nolan’s Hilltop Tavern presents the Fling Pong Ping Ping Tournament with Pyramid Brewing. Enjoy Pyramid’s new Spring seasonal, Fling Pale Ale, and battle to claim bragging rights as Beer Week’s ultimate flinger and to win prizes from Pyramid. 1-3pm
Beer Dinners and Food Pairings
- Tuli Bistro presents Pigs and Kegs. Enjoy brunch plates individually paired with an international selection of craft beer. 10:30am-2pm
- Samuel Horne’s Tavern presents Beer, Chocolate and Cheese with Lagunitas Brewing. 3:30-5:30pm
- Manderes presents an Allagash Beer Dinner. Enjoy a four course meal paired with selections from Allagash Brewing, a lively discussion of beer and food pairing with your hosts and a surprise beer selection from Manderes to wrap up Beer Week. $35 Reservations only.
- Latitudes presents a Bison Brewmaster Dinner. Enjoy a 5 course meal prepared from local sources and organic farms paired with Bison Brewing. Master Brewer Daniel Del Grande will discuss organic brewing while you experience his Chocolate Stout, Gingerbread Ale, IPA, Honey Basil Ale, and more. 6:30-8:30pm, call for reservations.
- Mary’s Pizza Shack (Roseville) offers $5 pints and a slice, $5 sampler trays and $3 pints of their house-brewed beer.
- Limelight Bar & Cafe closes the week with Retro Night and the premiere of their weekly Industry Night. Olympia Beer and Onion Rings for $3, Guinness Floats for $3.00 and pints of Oly for $1. 4pm – close
- Sweetwater Restaurant and Bar presents a DBA Pint Special. Get $2 pints of Firestone Walker Double Barrel Ale with a complimentary logo glass all day, with special food and beer pairings.
- Hoppy Brewing offers a 22 oz. bottle of their house beer with the purchase of each meal (offer for diners 21+ only)
- Michelangelo’s presents Italian Beer Pairings. Birra Moretti, Moretti La Rossa or New Belgium 1554 each paired with a rustic Italian plate.
- The Melting Pot offers 2 for 20, with a pot of fondue and 2 beers for $20.
- Centro Cocina Mexicana has a Modelo Beer Pairing on their menu all week. A three-course dinner paired with Negra Modelo, Corona Extra, and Pacifico from Grupo Modelo.

- The Townhouse Lounge presents Sudwerk Day, with beer specials on Sudwerk all day.
- Burgers and Brew (Davis) features DWB Day. Enjoy Sudwerk Signature Dunkel Weiss Bock and keep a complimentary logo pint glass all day.
- The Brick Oven Pub hosts Allagash and Bruery Day, with specials from Allagash Brewing and The Bruery 12-5pm.
