Special Events
- Samuel Horne’s Tavern presents a Double IPA Festival. Eight Double IPAs on tap poured in flights of four 6oz. servings will be available all day. Beers will include Speakeasy Triple IPA, Bear Republic APEX, Firestone Double Jack, Lagunitas Hop Stoopid, Moylan Hopsickle, and more!
- Hoppy Brewing presents Beer Ambassador Saturday featuring music by the Spillit Quikkers from 11am – 1pm. Wear your Beer Ambassador shirt and get $2.50 pints all day (or until you drop).
- Samuel Horne’s Tavern hosts Beer Judging Q&A. David Teckam of Beer Judge School will host a seminar on the Beer Judge Certification Program and answer any questions you have about beer. $15, call for reservations. 11am-1pm
- Two Rivers Cider the Cider Pub Pedal (not Crawl). Be at Rubicon by 3pm and then pedal to various establishments serving Two Rivers Cider, and then ride off in search of the magical Two Rivers Bus along the beautiful new Two Rivers Bike Trail on the American River. 3-7 pm
- Pyramid Brewing presents Go Haywire on Sutter Street! Join us for a pub crawl through Historic Folsom enjoying great beer specials. Meet Sacramento’s Pyramid Ambassador April at Chicago Fire Pizza between 4-5pm to pick up your VIP pass for special privileges. The pub crawl starts there and includes Q’Bole, The Folsom Hotel Saloon, The Sutter Club, Powerhouse Pub and Yager’s 727, with different beer specials at every stop.
- Auburn Alehouse hosts a Local IPA Fest with India Pale Ales from Rubicon, Sudwerk, Brew It Up!, Valley Brewing, and Auburn Alehouse. Flights of all 5 for $6.
- Streets of London (Midtown) will have a surprise musical guest and beer specials starting at 9pm.
- The Brick Oven Pub hosts a German Beer Night. 5-10pm (with karaoke 7-11pm)
- Yager’s 727 challenges you to compete in their Beer Triathlon. Best team of two wins prizes, call for info.

- L Wine Lounge and Urban Kitchen presents Beerunch. Hosted by the Beer Architects: Jim Woods, Bryant Goulding, and Steve Swinford with special guest Shawn Harrison (Soil Born Farms). Chef Ame Harrington will pair 6 beer selections with decadent brunch dishes. $40. Call for reservations. 11:30am – 2:00pm
- Pyramid Alehouse presents Kegs & Eggs Brunch. Fuel-up for the end of Sacramento Beer Week with this hearty breakfast created with Pyramid brews. Sample our award-winning lineup alongside chef creations that mix the art of breakfast with beer. 11am – 1pm
- Pangaea Cafe presents Rare Belgian Beer with an exclusive tasting of Westvleteren 12 paired with Belgian cheese. Pre-sale tickets only, call for details. 7pm
- The Shack presents Compare and Contrast: Belgian Beer vs American Beer. Compare 6 classic Belgian beers with 6 American-made counterparts while enjoying a selection of Shack appetizers. 5pm $30, call for reservations.
- Capitol Garage presents Stouts and Chocolates, with four stouts paired with artisan chocolates. 4-10pm
- Sweetwater Restaurant and Bar presents Sierra Nevada Beer and Bites. Enjoy Glissade Golden Bock, Kellerweis and Bigfoot Barleywine from Sierra Nevada paired with three appetizer plates for $15. Please call for reservations, 2-6pm.
- The Cellar Wine and Cheese Bar presents Beer and Cheese Pairings. Purchase any beer and our experts will serve you a taste of a perfectly matching cheese!
- Extreme Pizza presents a Pizza Eating Contest. All you can eat cheese pizza for 15 minutes with a pint of California microbrew to wash it down. $15, limited to ten people, cash prizes to first and second place. Call to reserve your spot. 3pm
- Monkey Bar hosts a Picnic Day featuring Two Rivers Cider, hotdogs and chips.
- Mary’s Pizza Shack (Roseville) offers $5 pints and a slice, $5 sampler trays and $3 pints of their house-brewed beer.
- Michelangelo’s presents Italian Beer Pairings. Birra Moretti, Moretti La Rossa or New Belgium 1554 each paired with a rustic Italian plate.
- The Melting Pot offers 2 for 20, with a pot of fondue and 2 beers for $20.
- Yager’s 727 has Fish and Hefe with beer battered fish and chips paired with Pyramid Haywire Hefeweizen or Audacious Apricot for $10 all day and keep the logo glass.
- Centro Cocina Mexicana has a Modelo Beer Pairing on their menu all week. A three-course dinner paired with Negra Modelo, Corona Extra, and Pacifico from Grupo Modelo.
- Sudwerk Brewery is a sponsor of the Active 20-30 Club’s 17th Annual Crab Feed benefiting local charities serving children. 5-11pm

- Rubicon Brewing features Stone Brew Day with 5 signature “big character” beers from Stone Brewing all day. Serving Sublimely Self-Righteous, Ruination, Smoked Porter, IPA and Levitation.
