Special Events

• Rubicon Brewing presents Firkin Friday, featuring Stone Brewing Arrogant Bastard, Auburn Ale House Gold Digger IPA, Sudwerk Unfiltered Marzen , Bear Republic APEX, Rubicon IPA, Moylan’s Mocha Porter and Sierra Nevada Brown.  Five are gravity driven firkins and two on the hand pump.

• The Cellar Wine and Cheese Bar presents Beer Blending Night. Join us as we experiment with blending beers into delicious new creations.

• The Brick Oven Pub hosts a Barleywine Night.  Enjoy a variety of barleywines from around the world from 5-10pm.

Beer Dinners and Food Pairings

• Lounge on 20 presents Belgian Ales meet Le Grand Chocolate Truffles. 6 Belgian and Belgian-style ales paired with truffles from Sacramento’s Le Grand Confectionery.  $30, 8 -10pm.  An early reception at 6:30pm will be hosted by Judy Ashworth and Beer Chef Bruce Paton, with menu items available.

• Pangaea Cafe hosts The Bicycle Chef for Cioppino and Beer.   Enjoy fine foods including Chef Christopher’s homemade cioppino paired with Pangaea’s assortment of Belgian beer.  7pm

• The Shack hosts Mad River Pint Night.  Enjoy a selection of Shack appetizers and craft beer and a logo glass from Mad River Brewing.  $20  6-9pm

• Limelight Bar & Cafe offers you New Belgium Ranger IPA paired with a Spicy Chicken Quesadilla for $6.00, pints $3 from 4pm-close.

• Extreme Pizza offers a pitcher of California microbrew and a dozen wings for $15 all day.

• Yager’s 727 offers BBQ and Brew with BBQ pork ribs paired with Deshutes Black Butte Porter or Mirror Pond Pale Ale for $10 all day and keep the logo glass.

• Ten22 offers a pint of Kona Brewing Longboard Lager paired with an appetizer for $5.  4-7pm

• Michelangelo’s presents Italian Beer Pairings.  Birra Moretti, Moretti La Rossa or New Belgium 1554 each paired with a rustic Italian plate.

• Mary’s Pizza Shack (Roseville) offers $5 pints and a slice, $5 sampler trays and $3 pints of their house-brewed beer.

• The Melting Pot offers 2 for 20, with a pot of fondue and 2 beers for $20.

• Centro Cocina Mexicana has a Modelo Beer Pairing on their menu all week.  A three-course dinner paired with Negra Modelo, Corona Extra, and Pacifico from Grupo Modelo.

• MIX Downtown offers Brats n’ Beer all week.  Enjoy any draft beer, including Firestone IPA, Rogue Hazelnut Brown Nectar, Hoegaarden, and Stella Artois, and an onion braised bratwurst for only $7 from 4-7pm.

Pint Nights and Brewery Showcases

• Samuel Horne’s Tavern hosts Firestone Walker Night.  Firestone Walker Brewing offers a firkin of unfiltered  Union Jack IPA on the handpump, a vertical tasting of their Anniversary Ales, and several other surprise appearances by rare beers you won’t want to miss.  Fans will be rewarded with hats, T-shirts, glassware and more!

• Constable Jacks presents Lagunitas Tasting and Pint Night.  Music by Jeff Watson Band (cover charge $7).  Select from a variety of beer from Lagunitas Brewing and keep the pint glass for $5.  7pm

• Morgan’s Bar and Grill presents a Valley Brewmaster Pint Night.  $4 logo pint, $3 refills on Valley Brewing with special guest Brewmaster Steve Altimari.  6pm – close

• The Sweetwater Restaurant and Bar features a Cider Pint Night.  $3 pints of Wyder’s, Strongbow and Woodchuck and keep the logo pint glass from Wyder’s.  Presented by Green Mountain Beverage.  5-9pm

• deVere’s Irish Pub hosts a Sierra Nevada Firkin Night.  Join them at 6pm to crack a firkin of Sierra Nevada Brown Ale.

• The Streets of London (Midtown) presents Sierra Nevada Pint Night.  Enjoy Life and Limb, a limited-release estate beer brewed collaboratively between Sierra Nevada Brewing and Dogfish Head Brewing or the classic Sierra Nevada Pale Ale, and keep the Sierra Nevada logo glass.

• Old Ironsides features $2 pints from Sierra Nevada featuring live music by Tough Luxury and Maldroid (cover $7).  9:30-11pm

• Burgers and Brew (Davis) features DWB Day.  Enjoy Sudwerk Signature Dunkel Weiss Bock and keep a complimentary logo pint glass all day.

• Pyramid Alehouse hosts a Haywire Pint Night.  Pints of Haywire Hefeweizen for $3 and you keep the Pyramid pint glass.

• Total Wine & More presents a Craft Beer Tasting with New Belgium Brewing, Gordon Biersch Brewing and Allagash Brewing.  Come join in the fun, meet the reps and try new beer!  Cost is 10 cents, what a bargain!  3-6pm

• BevMo! (Natomas) presents a Double IPA Tasting.  Sample a variety of beers from this distinctly West Coast style for only $1.  4-7pm

• BevMo! (Arden) hosts a Lost Coast Tasting.  Sample Lost Coast Great White, Downtown Brown, Tangerine Wheat and Raspberry Brown for only $1.  4-7pm

• The Nugget (El Dorado Hills) hosts Lost Coast Tasting.  Sample Lost Coast Great White, Downtown Brown, and Raspberry Brown.  5-7pm

• The Flaming Grill hosts Lagunitas Pint Night.  Enjoy the best burgers in Sacramento and $2 pints of Lagunitas seasonals including Ryan’s Imperial Folly, Hairy Eyeball, Cappuccino Stout and more surprise beers. 5pm – close

• The River City Saloon presents a Great White Pint Night.  Lost Coast Brewing Great White for $4 with a complimentary pint glass and refills only $2.

• The Melting Pot offers a sampling of 5 beers from Unibroue with their 4 course dinner.

• The Townhouse Lounge presents Sudwerk Day, with $2 pints of Sudwerk Marzen and Hefe Weizen all day.

• Hangar 17 features a Blue Moon with a $4 logo glass and $2 refills of Blue Moon.

• R15 features a Bud Light Pint Night, with a logo pint from Anheuser-Busch for $5 and $2 refills.  8pm-close

• Monkey Bar has an Old School Happy Hour all week with classic brands including Busch, Schlitz, Old Milwaukee, Olympia, Miller High Life, Mickey’s Big Mouth, and Hamm’s for only $1.  3-7pm

• The Pine Cove Tavern presents Pocketbook Relief Night with $3 logo pints and $1.50 refills on Pabst Blue Ribbon and Olympia Beer all night long.

• Pyramid Alehouse offers Retro Racks, a sampler rack of their 5 most popular beers (Haywire Hefeweizen, Fling Pale Ale, Audacious Apricot Ale, Thunderhead IPA, and Alehouse Amber Ale) for $3.30.  3:30pm – close.

• The Trocadero hosts a Lost Coast Night with $3 bottles of Lost Coast Tangerine Wheat and Great White.  8-10pm.

• Shark Week at the Beach! Two dollar pints of Lost Coast Brewing Great White all day at The Beach Hut Deli (24th and J location only)

• 3 Fires Lounge features Belgian beer specials all day.

• The Torch Club celebrates Beer Week with happy hour prices on all draft beers with live acoustic music 5-8 pm.

• The Shady Lady offers $1 off Sierra Nevada Glissade from 5-8pm

• Old Soul at the Weatherstone offers $2 off any beer and appetizer combo all week.
